Tire repair
When the damage to a tire is greater, it is frequently written off.
The hot process repair allows the tires to be recycled, as long as the damage is repairable, according to the standard of the patch manufacturers and in this way their useful life could be extended.
The process is the following:
The tire is washed with a high pressure hydro washer.
The wound is opened with scrapers to assess the damage. This process often generates a lot of dust.
This procedure is done in an area of the tire shop separate from the area where the wound is filled. At this stage, the size of the repair patch is chosen according to the patch application table of the two suppliers of said product: Rema Tip Top or Vipal.
Next, the wound is filled with "raw" rubber in an area with as little dust as possible. Metal or nylon reinforcements are applied as needed. The patch is prepared and immediately installed to cover the damage.
Then the sectoral vulcanization equipment is assembled, that is, a equipment that heats and vulcanizes only the injured area.
We repair tires that other, more prestigious companies do not repair, we work in strict adherence to the authorized repair parameters of the patch manufacturers.
